Honō Izakaya is a small Japanese tavern that has been open since 2018. We specialize in small sharing dishes that honor Japanese traditions and integrate local products. The cocktail & bar program is an integral part of our identity and one of the key reasons behind our success and reputation. The bar offers a range of natural and local wines, and a diverse selection of sake, all served in a relaxed, warm, and festive atmosphere. The establishment was ranked 29th in the Canada’s 50 Best Bars 2020, BOTY at the Lauriers de la Gastronomie 2023 (Julien Vézina), twice in the top 10 of Patrón Perfectionists in Canada (Julien Vézina). Also as being three-time nominee for Best Resto/Bar (Canada) at Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards.
